　　有一天南泉正在洗衣服，正巧有一名和尚經過。這名和尚看到南泉沈浸其中，很驚訝地說：「師父，你還沒擺脫『這個』嗎？」南泉舉起溼答答的衣服，論道：「對『這個』你又能如何？」

　　南泉總是能為任何情境帶來莫大的洞見。這段插曲本來和洗衣有關，但現在完全變調了，變成一個「如是」的問題。你無法對「這個」做什麼，「這個」意謂著當下。南泉師父是說：「我洗著衣服、同時觀照著。除此之外，你還能對當下做什麼？」

　　南泉是禪師馬祖道一最重要的弟子之一，被讚譽其「獨超象外」。在菩提達摩之後，南泉可謂靈性的另一個轉折，彰顯了「凡聖本一家」的門徑，強調物質與精神本是一體。他為禪門開啟了更寬廣的多樣性，帶來更豐富的面向。

作者介紹

奧修（OSHO）

　　奧修是二十世紀最具知名度、也最具爭議性的一位靈性大師。一九三一年出生於印度，從小就堅持要親身去經驗真理，是一個叛逆而獨立的靈魂，飽覽群書、辯才無礙，以優異的成績畢業於印度沙加大學哲學系，並在傑波普大學擔任了九年的哲學系教授。

　　之後奧修周遊印度各地，公開挑戰一切既有的宗教、社會和政治傳統，當時在印度擁有毀譽參半的名聲。但今日則被印度的＜週日午報＞（Sunday Mid-Day）與甘地、尼赫魯、佛陀等並列為改變印度命運的十位人物之一。

　　一九七四年在印度孟買東南方的普那(Poona)創建了「普那國際靜心中心」，吸引了大批的西方年輕人及世界各國的求道者前來體驗靜心與轉化。他不屬於任何傳統或教派，他從東西方哲學精華中，提煉出對現代人靈性追求具有意義的訊息，並發展出獨特的靜心方法，能協助現代人加速內在的蛻變。

　　一九九○年奧修離開了他的身體，但種種的教誨與啟示以文字的力量更廣為流傳，他對門徒及求道者的演講已被錄製成六百多種書，翻譯成三十多國文字。在台灣，閱讀奧修的文字協助了許多追求靈性及心靈成長的人士打開了一扇意識之窗，每年前往普那國際靜心中心短期進修、體驗治療課程的人不斷增加。奧修國際資訊中心網址：www.osho.com
